Fresh off of hitting for the cycle, Cincinnati Reds outfielder Davy Jones was named the National League Player of the Week. On the week, Jones batted .464 (13 for 28) with 2 Doubles, 1 Triple, 1 Homerun, 6 Runs, 4 RBIs, 1 Walk, and 3 Stolen Bases for a slash line of .464/.500/.714 that generated 0.8 WAR and WPA 0.63 on the way to his first PofW award.
