GM Trevor Linden calls out team, agrees with media following back to back losses

November 25th, 2018 -

After their hot streak was stopped cold by losses on back to back nights against San Jose and Los Angeles the Canucks were left looking for answers and so were the media. Media coverage was supportive of Tyler Bertuzzi's efforts and critical of the rest of the team. Trevor Linden spoke to reporters today and agreed that Bertuzzi's play has been exemplary but "the rest of the team needs to step up and not make excuses". We will see in a couple days if his words took effect as Vancouver will have a rematch against the last place Kings, this time at home after a couple days of rest.
