Chesbro Dominates in 9-4 Win over AL All-Stars
In the 1901 battle of the best of each league, the NL All-Stars came out ahead of the AL All-Stars by a final score of 9-4.
It was a great show from the best players in the game, played amidst the cheers of the sold-out South Side Park.
Leading the way for NL was Jack Chesbro. He pitched 5 innings, fanned 2, and allowed 1 run.
