I have changed all award logos to old school ones. I am on a MAC, so I can only help with system.

1) Need to go to Add-On Central and download and install your skin. Should download and unzip to addons in you OOTP folder with logos, schedules, saves are at.

2) Go Applications and right click on OOTP 25 app and Select Show Contents. Un-nest the data folder, then skins folder, and swap out the folder of your skin with the one in Step 1.

3) You should hopefully see an images folder in the skin folder in the Step #2. This is where all the awards and images are hidden. You must replace with the same names for the game to find them.

4) Make sure to delete the .dat file in your skins folder in Step 2 for your changes to take place.

Also, every time you update the game, you have to do this. I have it down now and have shortcuts or folders in my finder sidebar to speed the process.
