My socks I made which were just a simple stirrup 1 color with sanitary sock comes out with one sock over the other. I put it in the socks folder in the game and it is the same way. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Do we really need a left and right sock?

I don't think the game is ready for socks yet. I go to team settings and where the jerseys and caps are but under the socks tab I don't see anything about left and right socks. So when I load the socks I made with this uniform maker it puts the left sock over the right sock on the same leg.
