I don't think you are missing anything. However, you can watch the games, the games will be in the same page where you find games for a league. They will be in the league of the home team.
In my experience the association playoff stats are impossible to find. You won't really find totals, but you will see in a player's stats he had some games in the other league in the playoffs.
I like associations to do a sort of champions league, but had to resign myself that there were several short comings with associations.
