The devs seem pretty darn happy with this release, and rightfully so. They've called it their smoothest release or most successful or whatever terminology they used. There haven't been any massive crash issues and the game has run smoothly for virtually everyone. Some of the issues people have are already correctable by adjusting an option (such as fatigue). Other issues, such as the development lab, seem to be more so certain users not agreeing with how it works --- which isn't an "problem" as much as it's satisfaction thing

I guess what I'm getting at is this upcoming patch (which hasn't been given critical priority - again, rightfully so) may not address a whole heck of a lot. Simply because it doesn't seem like there's all that much to address. I don't mean to be raining on anyone's parade with this, but for everyone saying they are waiting on the patch before finally starting their sim..... my guess is there isn't going to be much changed outside of some tiny tweaks. IMO you've been okay to start sims for a while now.
I think it will be a pretty solid patch, like others I am waiting for this one as well.

Last week the devs said we could probably expect it this week, earlier in week we were told it would probably go into beta thursday or friday. So holding hope we see something soon. They had some server issues or something prior to patch 2, so they've had some internal issues as well it sounds.
