Offseason news, 1950-1951

-The Boston Red Sox traded 23-year-old SP Cloyd Boyer to the Boston Braves, getting 30-year-old 2B Jerry Priddy in return.
-The Pittsburgh Pirates traded 34-year-old SP Murry Dickson to the Brooklyn Dodgers, getting 32-year-old 3B Billy Johnson in return.
-The Pittsburgh Pirates traded 20-year-old C Frank House to the Boston Red Sox, getting 30-year-old SP Steve Gromek in return.
-The Boston Red Sox traded 39-year-old RP Connie Marrero to the Chicago Cubs, getting 32-year-old CF Sam Jethroe in return.
-The Washington Senators traded 24-year-old 3B Randy Jackson to the Cleveland Guardians, getting 32-year-old 1B Mickey Vernon in return.
-The St. Louis Browns traded 24-year-old RP Don Johnson to the Cincinnati Reds, getting 34-year-old SP Willie Ramsdell and 22-year-old 2B Billy Martin in return.
