-The New York Giants traded 31-year-old SP Ken Raffensberger to the Philadelphia Phillies, getting 31-year-old LF Pat Mullin in return.
-The Pittsburgh Pirates traded 31-year-old CF Dom DiMaggio to the Chicago Cubs, getting 24-year-old LF Hal Rice in return.
-The New York Yankees traded 24-year-old RF Ken Wood to the St. Louis Cardinals, getting 30-year-old RP Forrest Thompson and 24-year-old C Ed Fitz Gerald in return.
