Once you have downloaded the file into saved games, you can use it just as you would the default OOTP rosters. You can start your own 2024 MLB (and minor leagues) Season, with the Settings you prefer. It's an updated and tweaked database that refines the ratings and tries to predict the performance of rookies and prospects. Truthfully, it's a work of art that improves upon the default - which is already fine. I'd review some of the suggestions in this thread for how to adjust settings like AI control (or not) of teams, TCR (talent change randomness), scouting, and finances. Once you start with this solid database, you can make choices as to how your sim will work. (It can be a bit harder to locate and save files on a Mac, trust me; but the tradeoff is that Apple products tend to be more secure [pauses for PC users to push back on that]. I play on both Mac and PC versions - which can be confusing, LOL.)
