Are they actually becoming average or does the scouting lens just say that? If they are still being just as productive nothing really changed other than how you see them from a scouting perspective. From a scouting perspective it is just a view point that can be altered. Some scouts grade tougher than others but it doesn't change the way the player performs on the field.
