First, I'd like to see a trophy room added too.
We went 18 years (6.5 and before had a very simple system) without a development module where we could guide players on how and what they worked on. Not having it in the game is not an indication that it will never be in the game. It could come down to how hard to code, value added to the game in relation to time to code, what else is on the list of things to do, etc. etc.
I've put requests in the suggestion forum for years, and like you, waited and wondered if/when they may get done. Then out of the blue a version comes out and there it is in the new feature list, despite never so much as a "it's on the list", "we like the idea but it will take a lot of coding and will have to wait 'til we have the time", etc. from the developers.
I think quite a few users would like to see a trophy room too. I'd be surprised if it's not on the list of things to add at some time. If you have a post in the suggestion forum either bump it once per year, or make a new request each year then.... wait and hope . My experience is Markus, Matt, and the team rarely respond that they are considering or putting in a new feature. I think because they have in the past and then when it doesn't work out users are disappointed.
