I imported my game on official release day, been through FA, and had my LF signed by another team. He's valuable enough I was told in email that I would be receiving a first round supplemental pick as compensation. The pick is listed in the draft order screen.
I'm not familiar with this bug and how it does or doesn't come up. I play slow enough the issue won't come up before the patch releases. So just wondering if getting the compensation message means it was never going to affect me and I'd get the pick no matter what? Was going to affect me, but the patch will fix it? or, Since this happened before the patch I am never going to get the pick?
I'm not backtracking and starting over no matter what the answer is. I just like to know, before I get to the draft, whether the pick will be there or not.  |
No, the fix is for the other compensation - if you draft someone in the first 3 rounds, and don't sign them, we were not processing that properly to give you a compensation pick in the next draft. It was not related to FA compensation.
