Or move the start date back to what it was for your next season. Unless of course you are dead set on playing as close to current real life rules as possible, which is a good reason to leave it as is.
As for me...
My game is now fictional through attrition starting in v4 and importing all the way to v25. I like to follow real life settings as closely as possible, but I'm not moving my Complex League start dates back to May.
I may not understand all of the reasons they moved this back in real life, but I do understand that in real life they have ways to work with incoming players other than the complex leagues. OOTP doesn't really give us that so keeping the start date in June seems reasonable to me. YMMV.
