In older versions, control was much more important than it is in the last coupler versions of ootp. For example, Nolan Ryan was trash because of his super low control rating. Now, a pitcher with really high stuff and movement can have a near basement conrol rating and be really successful. I had multiple HOF pitchers with ratings like that in my last ootp24 league. These are guys I used to ignore. It could be argued that movement/groundball percantage is the most important rating. Flyball pitchers are dog**** as SP's regardless of their other ratings. These opinions are based off 800 hours in ootp 24. I've only done 1 season so far in 25.

To summarize, stuff>movement>control.
