I've noticed when watching the games, the amount of outstanding diving catches from Outfielders is way too frequent. The animation happens at least 2-3 times a game and there doesn't seem to be a correlation to Range or any defensive ratings.

I think this is mainly a cosmetic issue, it just makes it frustrating to actually watch the games and removes some of the realism.
