I got the error message, too. I'm on a Mac running os12. I started a real world game as Dodgers GM/M, and first game of the year it wouldn't let me play. Regardless if I select play game under the play menu or go to the score window and select manage game I'd get the game cannot be initialized message . Also wouldn't let me autoplay the first day either. autoplay all games result in nothing happening. Which leads me to believe this isn't a graphics issue
