Standard OOTP (non-PT) baseball cards are simply not going to get any love from the devs unless enough people request/complain about enhancements.

We haven't had a meaningful update to the baseball card feature for several versions. The OOTP default template hasn't even been updated for years. I've offered at times to create a new default template for the game, but have been met with crickets from the dev team.

It's a shame because you could have a lot of fun with it. You could even take some of the PT pack code and give base game players the ability to earn packs through achievements in their league and then generate a random collection of 6 cards for them to open.

As far as the player photos go, I've been asking for full shoulders pretty much since the player profile page started showing them and we still don't have that, let along action poses.
