EDIT: Fixed!
Hey everyone!
I'm still cooking on this league, I just finished the 2018 season.
Going is slow because I make uniforms and design new baseball cards annually, which takes some time. I design uniforms for all 20 English Premier League teams and the 28 non-English Champions League sides.
Plus 2014 is a World Cup year, baseball's 32 best nations compete for the ultimate prize! So I have to do uniforms for each team.
I also don't use the Uniform Maker, which is a nice way to unnecessarily inflict pain on myself.
That said, I thought I'd bump my six month old thread to go through developments since 2013...
English Premier League
Manchester City do the League/Cup double, winning the preseason knockout tournament and the League. The Blue side from Manchester cruised to the League title, finishing 12 games ahead of runners up, Chelsea.

City 3B Kun Aguero was the league MVP, with a .393/.635/.488, 26 HR, 182 H in 114 games.

On the other side of the ball, newcomer SP Thibault Courtois went 16-1 in 20 games, with 158 K and a 1.65 ERA.
German Bundesliga
Bayern Munich similarly won the Pokal/League double, bringing home the Cup over 2013 winners Bielefeld and winning the League by a whopping 15 games.

Munich SS Bastian Schweinsteiger won Player of the Year, .416/.825/.485, 40 HR, 150 H, in only 92G while battling injury.

Fellow Red, SP Manuel Neuer, takes home the pitching honors in the League. 16-4 in 22 starts, 1.39 ERA, 191 K.
Spanish La Liga
Barca do the double in back-to-back years, squeaking out a 1-0 win in the Copa final against arch rivals Real Madrid and capturing the League Championship by four games ahead of, you guessed it, Real Madrid.

Despite the second place finish, Madrid's Ronaldo captures his third MVP honors in a row with a stellar season: .511/.967/.587, 50 HR, 235 H, 95 SB, 84 BB in 114 G. Messi, by contrast, went .515/.905/.609, 37HR, 234 H, 93 SB, 116 BB.

Fictional Villarreal SP Victor Tzintzun won the league's pitching honors. He went 13-6 in 27 G, 2.03 ERA, 284 K, 34 BB. The 23 year-old Spaniard one of the league's top free agents heading into the 2015 season.
Italian Serie A
Lazio capture the Coppa Italia but it's crosstown rivals Roma who win the league. The Wolves beat Udinese by 4 games, going 87-27, to capture the Scudetto.

MVP honors go to American Landon Donovan of 9th place Benevento. Don't be fooled by their finishing, the Witches have climbed up from the third tier in two years to finish mid-table. Landon had a great year: .346/.656/.449, 34 HR, 143 H, 78 BB.

PThe best pitcher of the year is Bologna's fictional English SP, Andre Lowe. The 22 year-old hurler went 14-6, 1.46 ERA, 241 K, 43 BB, and gave up only 85 H.
French Ligue 1
Lille repeat as League champs after falling in the Coupe de France quarterfinals to eventual Cup repeat champs, Bordeaux. The Dogs won the League comfortably with a 94-20 record, good for 11 games over second place Marseille.

Lille SS Eden Hazard wins the MVP, .555/1.121/.656, 36 HR, 147 H, 105 RBI in an injury-shortened season of 74 G.

Lyon's fictional Italian SP Bertrando Castellana is Ligue 1's golden arm, despite his team's dismal 12th place finish. He was a lone bright spot for the 56-58 side, winning 11 in 27 starts, 1.69 ERA, 206 K, and 40 BB.
European Champions League
Fans of El Classico were treated to multiple epic clashes between rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona. Barca emerged victorious in the Cup and the League, and after dispatching Man City in the Semifinals, only Ronaldo's side stood in the way of an epic treble season for the Catalonian squad.
Madrid had seen off Cinderella story German team Augsburg in the semis to set up a Classico for the ages. Barc jumped out to an early 8-4 lead but Madrid rallied to tie the game in the 9th and send it into extra innings. Barca RP Shaun Moir was unable to hold on, he surrendered 3 runs in the top of the 11th. His counterpart, RP Santos Garza, pitched the 10th and 11th, giving up 0 H and 1 BB. Madrid come back to win the trophy with the big ears, 11-8 in 11 innings.

Messi and Ronaldo split the honors. Messi wins Player of the Tournament in the Champions League. He went .534/1.034/.687, 9 HR, 47 H, 23 SB, 43 BB in 131 PA in 26 G.

Golden Arm honors go to Inter Milan fictional SP, Canadian Anatole Beal. he went 3-0 in 6 games, 0.40 ERA, 61 K, 11 BB.
Baseball World Cup
The 2014 World Cup in Brazil brought together the 32 best teams in baseball. The knockout rounds saw the United States defeat a stacked Belgium squad thanks to powerful plate appearances by Stu Holden and Michael Bradley. They were no match for Spain, however, and Spain cruised past the Americans, Ivory Coast, and England to the finals, sweeping their series against each opponent.
Across the bracket, hosts Brazil powered their way past all comers before coming up against powerhouse Italy, who had topped their group undefeated. The Brazilian dream was not to be. Italy won games 1 and 3 to send the hosts away and set up a match with their European rivals at the storied Maracana stadium.
On Boxing Day 2014 Italy and Spain went toe-to-toe. Italy's bats came to life early, scoring 3 runs in the first two innings and adding two more in the 4th. Spain could only conjure 3 runs and Italy emerged victorious to claim the title and add a star to their badge. The Azzurri will look to defend their title in four years time in Russia.

The player of the tournament was England CF Steven Gerrard. The Three Lions reached the semis behind Stevie G's .433/.667/.553, 3 HR, 26 H, 15 RBI, in 15 G and 76 PA. The Liverpool star will be a free agent after the 2015 season.

Spain's Victor Tzintzun is having the year of his life. He wins the Golden Arm in the World Cup to add to his league honors. He went 4-0 in 4 G, 0.65 ERA, 27.2 IP, 34 K, with only 2 ER and 0 HR.
Okay, that does it for 2014, unless you want to hear about the other leagues! I'll come back soon and write up 2015.
