I've been having this problem since I got the new version of 5.14, so it might be a problem with the patch -- I start OOTP, and it's using 76,228K of RAM and running at a good speed. But, about 20-30 minutes later, it's using 146,748K and running slower than Edgar Martinez...

I've tried with sound on and off, turning off every non-vital process that's running, and everything else I could think of.

I know the problem isn't with the computer, it's a P4 2 Ghz, XP pro, 1 GB RAM, 61 GB free space on the hard drive, recently defragged.

Anyone have any ideas? It's getting really annoying having to restart every few minutes...
