I then offered an extra 1st to see if they'd bite and received the same response.
Out of curiosity, I added a third 1st round pick, along with the 3.5 star player and again received the same response. At that point, I moved along,,,
The next day, on my feed, it was announced that Vancouver and Seattle made a trade. I expected to see a trade of Beniers for Petterson or Hughes, with what Seattle was turning down from me, but was shocked to see that all Vancouver gave up was a single 2nd round pick in return for Beniers.
How in the world does Vancouver get him for a 2nd when I couldn't even get him for 3 1sts and a 3.5 star prospect? Seems like something is majorly flawed there. Am I missing something here or do the non-human run teams just get better deals?

Were you higher in the standings? It could possibly be that Beniers has list of teams he doesn't want to be traded to as well.
