SP Irv Young of the Boston Red Sox wins the AL Pitcher of the Month Award.
SP Buttons Briggs of the Brooklyn Robins wins the NL Pitcher of the Month Award.
SP Ben Tincup of the Chicago White Sox wins the AL Rookie of the Month Award.
RP Red Faber of the New York Giants wins the NL Rookie of the Month Award.
In the AL, the Detroit Tigers are now 2 and a half-games ahead of the Chicago White Sox, while, in the NL, the St. Louis Cardinals are now in first place, 3 and a half-games ahead of the Boston Braves.
