2024 All Star Weekend
It's All-Star Weekend and Anaheim becomes the center of the hockey world for the next few days. There's huge buzz around the Honda Center, as rising star Trevor Zegras has been announced to make his first All-Star game in his home stadium. Jason Robertson, from nearby Arcadia, has also been named, leading to further hype.

The all star weekend has also been an eventful time for Toronto Maple Leafs fans. The team's first announcement was that star forward William Nylander will be remaining in Toronto until 2029, signing a 5 year extension worth a 6.4 million AAV.
In other unsuprising news, after a 23-22-9 start to the season, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment chair Larry Tanenbaum announced that Brad Treliving has been terminated as General Manager of the Leafs.
The controversial part of this announcement was the appointment of Stan Bowman, signing a contract until the end of the 2024 season.
