-The Cincinnati Reds traded 24-year-old RP Ray Tift to the St. Louis Browns, getting 31-year-old RP Bull Durham in return.
-The Chicago White Sox traded 32-year-old RP Warren McLaughlin to the Pittsburgh Pirates, getting 23-year-old RP Hack Schumann in return.
