RF Elmer Flick of the Philadelphia Phillies wins the NL Batter of the Month Award with 2 home runs, 21 RBIs, and 22 runs scored.
SP Eddie Plank of the Philadelphia Athletics wins the AL Pitcher of the Month Award with a 6-0 record and a 3.42 ERA.
SP Bill Donovan of the Brooklyn Superbas wins the NL Pitcher of the Month Award with a 6-0 record and a 1.55 ERA.
SP Eddie Plank of the Philadelphia Athletics wins the AL Rookie of the Month Award with a 6-0 record and a 3.42 ERA.
SP Doc White of the Philadelphia Phillies wins the NL Rookie of the Month Award with a 4-2 record and a 1.46 ERA.
Both the AL and NL now have new teams in first place, as the Boston Americans are now in the lead with a 38-21 record, 3 ahead of the Detroit Tigers, while the Philadelphia Phillies are ahead of the Pittsburgh Pirates with a 41-22 record.
