While it's foolish to assume there is no overlap between those two groups of "people", it also seems unwise to feel there is 100% overlap. I would rather have a panoply of channels that may be of use (I would not have imagined WE becoming my primary source for
Law & Order, or FUSE as the new home of
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, to cite two favorites) than cut myself adrift and have to pay for anything that catches my whim.
(And I know that there are wonderful little add-ons that help my TV to spy on me, but aside from that issue, I would rather not have to buy new equipment, much less need to install it. [Age-related issues make getting up from the floor/hands and knees more of a chore than I prefer.] My personal preferences, but still.)
