** Updates **
Hey gang,
Great news - next file update will now feature the real Top 100 prospects for MLB draft! I leaned more on MLB Pipeline since they have both good scouting reports, and tool ratings to leverage. There are about 105 players total rated at least 45 FV (overall potential), so basically covers first three rounds.
This draft class has some interesting and solid players, with a few that could be above average players, but no future superstars like 2023 draft with Dylan Crews, Paul Skenes, and Wyatt Langford.
The breakdown:
60 FV (4 hitters, 1 closer)
Above average MLB potential / #3+ SP / plus to elite bullpen arm / potential All Stars
55 FV (13 hitters, 7 pitchers)
Slightly above average MLB potential / #4+ SP / plus bullpen arm
50 FV (27 hitters, 17 pitchers)
Average MLB potential / #4/5 SP
45 FV (36 total players)
Second division starter, possible bench utility, #5/6 SP
From here I may add in top 50 international free agents to teams they are expected to sign with. TBD.
