Today is the third game in the four-game series in Washington between the Orioles and the Senators. The two teams have split the first two games of this series.

In the top of the first, the Orioles scored a run on a Donlin single. The Orioles then loaded the bases with nobody out. Brodie scored from third when Farrell bobbled a Keister grounder. Donlin scored from third when Seymour beat out the 5-4-3. Bresnahan brought home a run with a sacrifice fly. Hard made it a five-run inning with a two-out run-scoring single as the Orioles batted around the order in the first.

In the top of the second, Williams brought home two with a triple. Keister brought Williams home with a sacrifice fly.

In the top of the third, McGraw hit a two-out RBI single. McGraw went on to score from second on a Donlin two-out single plus a Foster fielding error. Two more runs scored when Lee dropped a Williams fly ball.

After three: Baltimore 12 Washington 0.

With two out in the top of the fifth, rain began to fall.

In the top of the sixth, Bill Carrick took the mound for the Senators.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Senators loaded the bases with two out before Foster flew to center to end the inning.

After six: Baltimore 12 Washington 0.

In the top of the seventh, the game was called due to rain.

The Orioles out hit the Senators 12-2 in the contest and the Senators also committed four errors. McGinnity was credited with a complete game shutout.

Final score: Baltimore 12 Washington 0 7 innings.
