Things go from bad to worse for beleaguered Canucks as captain sustains injury
Dec 20th, 2016 -
Not only was their season best four game winning streak snapped against the Jets despite a two goal performance from rookie Cole Cassels, the Canucks can't seem to buy a break on the injury front as they endeavour to claw their way out of the basement. Captain Henrik Sedin fractured his wrist and they will be without him for at least a month. Rookie Jared McCann will be called up to replace him. McCann has 13 goals and 23 points in Utica. Henrik had eighteen points in thirty three games.
