Making his 2nd title defense, Dmitry Bivol came in soft for some reason coming to Paris to face Madjid Zaim.

Bivol was less than impressive in his 1st title defense retaining his belt via a Draw against Alexander Johnson. So many wondered why he appeared less toned & not in top shape for this fight?

But as they say, appearances can be deceiving as Bivol fought much better than he looked in a dominating performance & 6th round hook KO of Zaim at 2:46 of the round.

Bivol up on PL 217 (32%) to 78 (31%) & the cards 49-46 & 48-47 twice.

Bivol is now 11-1-1 with 6 KO's.
