It's mid-season, and I received a notice that some of my personnel contracts were expiring. I offered extensions with good raises. A couple of them (my Asst GM and Hitting Coach) said "Thanks but no thanks. I'm not interested in leaving my job" and "I have no interest in leaving my job right now."

Of course, their jobs are with me, and I'm offering them extensions so they do NOT leave their jobs.

Is this just a flawed way of saying the extension terms were not good enough?
