The thin air in Albuquerque allowed the now hot-hitting Cardinals to continue their winning ways, beating the Aztecs 7-5.

It wasn't easy, as the Cards nearly blew a 6-1 lead.

The hitting star for the Cardinals was catcher Martin Hamblen, who increased his hitting streak to ten games.
