Yes, it will. If it still hasn't auto-updated, try exiting the Steam client and restarting it, that usually fixes it when the auto-update doesn't happen. (But maybe check your library's download list first, I went to grab a test build last week and noticed I had 7 or 8 updates for other games accumulated in the queue.)
