Then you have the player that is looking @ film an hour or 2 before mandatory workouts, watching NFL Network or SC while in the tub or on the exercise bike, asking questions in practice and offering suggestions, watches more film w/the coaches after practice, takes home video on his laptop, then relaxes w/Madden online vs teammates & friends, old & new. then goes to bed making sure there isn't any news on players he has in fantasy.

When Donovan McNabb didn't know NFL games could end in a tie, that taught me there are different levels even among the pros as to commitment to the sport. For some it is a job. For others, it is all they ever wanted to know.
In the modern world of sports, to most it's just a job.
