The weekly Power Rankings are out and there is a battle for the top spot. Solid play by the St. Louis Cardinals (17-8) has the team in the #1 position, but the Philadelphia Athletics (16-9) are close behind. The Boston Americans (11-14) fell to the #12 position, with the Chicago White Sox (6-19) maintaining a firm hold on last place.
