You can live with guys like Sam Howell and A-Rich being up there on that list since they're young (and of course mobile; mobile guys do tend to run into sacks a lot while they're trying to make things happen) but Danny Dimes and Deshaun Watson have reached a point in their careers where they really need to do better. Also a little surprising that Russell Wilson is middle of the pack in this statistic after being a guy who looked unable to get away from the rush but also like a guy who thought he still had that kind of speed as of last year. And of course, the 3 guys with the lowest actual vs expected sack rates are Mahomes, Geno (who makes sense), and... Mac Jones, proving that you should not be looking at this metric all by itself.
Correct me if I'm wrong. This chart is showing how much to blame the QBs are for their sacks?

If that's the case, Howell doesn't surprise me. He holds on to the ball far too long. It's actually noticeable. You're screaming, throw it.
