Obviously I do not want an exact copy of history in game, it is just a bit frustrating when a "star player" in your team is under-performing.

I am now trying a Cincy Reds historical play from 1963 which was Pete Rose's rookie year. My plan is to keep him on the team and see if he can reach the +4000 hits, plus I also want to keep Frank Robinson on the team, as if the worst trade in MLB history has never happened. Finally, I am planning to bring in Sparky Anderson as manager when he appears in the game. :-)

I am curious how this one folds out.
