OOTP doesn't need the "_home" for the home font (or for any other uniform element for that matter). Saving the file as "alderaan_royals.png" should be all you need to do.
You may still need to load the font in-game in the uniform editor the same way as you would any other uniform element, but that's an OOTP question, not a question about the Uniform Maker.
