Even if I was racist, I can read the room. On my job, I know the stuff that I can get away with & I know the stuff that will cause inquiries, investigations, reports, inservices, meetings & policy changes. I'm not bringing myself a 6 month problem when I can turn it into a 5 minute incident.

The whole thing was on film. It happened. Whatever reason they want to justify it, they know what it is. So give an insincere fake apology & try to be a better bigot next time. But not these people. "Let's look at the minimum we can do & then pull up short of that".

They took a minor jerk move in an event no one even in the locale that it took place in probably knew existed & turned into an international media scandal.
