But, to quote Bob Dylan, "It ain't me, babe; it ain't me you're looking for." IMO, the skip-ahead button is one of the great inventions of all time, right behind air conditioning. (Bless you, Willis Carrier.) JMO.

Every decision made means dealing with the pluses & negatives that come with it. I'd rather deal w/ads & see the game in real time rather than skip the commercials and have the suspense potentially ruined.

I find it odd that people who hate waiting out commercials don't hate waiting on batters scratching themselves, stepping out to spit, endless mound visits & bringing in pitchers to throw to one batter.

I find it odd that people who would claim less joy from baseball if we had robo umps because it is technology interfering with the game don't mind dvr technology to manipulate their enjoyment of the game.
