I am running a historical league, in 1954, and I have every setting set to me being in control as GM / Manager. But whenever I make a roster move that the AI doesn't like, and I sim to the next day after finishing coaching out a game, it resets things to its liking and I am at a loss as to why / what I can change to get it to stop. It forces me to stay on a five man pitching rotation, and it's constantly making moves of players back to the minors and insisting that, say, a certain reliver who is not starter caliber should be my fifth "starter" despite having piss-poor stamina.
I have talked to guys in my online leagues and they can't figure it out either. Do you know what files I would have to send in to get this looked at? Or do you have any areas other than "manager options" where this would be controlled? I've been working around it by countering the AI moves every day, but it's frustrating as hell considering I keep copious notes and if I forget to check, sometimes I have guys in my bullpen I didn't call up, etc.
As I noted, I am not simming anything except to proceed from one day to the next. I have played out every single game in this save, and the changes to my rosters always happen between days.
Thanks
