I am playing a new live start save, largely on default settings. Ohtani just signed with the Mets for 7y/183m with an opt out after year 4, and a net team option of 13m at the end. I understand that some unpredictability is good, but this is just in no way realistic. In this live start (from a couple weeks ago), he never got injured, actually had a really good end to the season too. His ratings look great. As a hitter alone, he's worth FAR more than that contract.

My thinking for what this bug is, is that the AI could be looking at him only as a pitcher (which that deal is fair for), or maybe it overvalues the opt-out. But either way, his listed demand on the offseason center was 10y, 600m, which is much more in line with expectations.

Also, not to beat a dead horse, but the trade frequency is still insane on default settings. Ever since the offseason started, been 8-12 trades per day. I only get a trade offer once every few days though.
