National League Most Valuable Player

In a unanimous outcome, Cincinnati Reds 2nd baseman Nap Lajoie was named the National League Most Valuable Player. In picking up the award for the 2nd consecutive year, Lajoie led the league with a .380 (219 for 577) batting average and a slash line of .380/.407/.530 that resulted in a 174 OPS+ and 7.5 WAR. In putting together his award-winning season, Lajoie led the league in Batting Average, OBP, SLG, OPS, Hits, Doubles, RBIs, and WAR!
