The Knights had 4 baserunners in the 1st against Logan Webb and failed to score. The Giants scored 3 times off Mike Clevinger in the bottom of the inning.
Brandon Drury singled home a run in the 2nd. And Andy Ibanez error opened the door for the Giants to score twice in the bottom of the inning on a Mike Yastrzekski double. Joey Bart's double drove home another run in the 3rd. Austin Slater's single scored Bart to make it 7-1.
Connor Wong doubled with 1 out in the top of the 4th and Vidal Brujan followed with a double to make it 7-2. Brujan had to leave the game with an injury. The Knights scored another run courtesy of a Brandon Crawford error in the 9th.
