I started a historical league in 1961... and all players who are retired are showing as retired in 2023 (i.e. the real-life year I began the sim). All of them... guys who retired in 1901, guys who retired in 1960, and everyone in between. All the Hall of Famers -- retired 2023. So, it's showing their ages at retirement as whatever they would be in 2023... i.e. Cap Anson was 171 when he retired.

Is there an option I neglected to check when setting up, or is this just a database issue? I can't even figure out how to edit the retirement year in-game, as tedious as that would be.

I can unretire a player, then re-retire him, and it shows his retirement year as 1961. But is there a way to have the accurate retirement year for the old-timers?
