Road to the PT 24 World Championship

Hello, everyone!
I apologize for the lateness of this post. I thought I had this up earlier this year.

As many of you may know, the first Saturday of the month is when we hold the Perfect Team Championship Series (PTCS). Each month, there will be 10 PTCS tournaments, with one each based on the standings from weekly tournaments, daily Perfect Draft and weekly Perfect Draft. We will also have seven others based on daily tournaments and the standings for those can be distinguished with the following designation seen in the name of the tournament. Those designations are as follows:

1 - Open
2 - Iron
3 - Bronze
4 - Silver
5 - Gold
6 - Diamond
7 - Wildcard

Just to re-iterate; we have 10 PTCS tournaments on the first Saturday of the month with seven based on standings from daily tournaments and one each based on weekly tournaments, daily PDs and weekly PDs.

To qualify for the PTCS, you must be in the top 128 in the standings for that category. You gain points based on your performance in those tournaments. These are the points structures:

Points for standings - Weeklies
1st – 30 points
2nd – 20
3rd-4th – 15
5th-8th – 10
9th-16th – 6
17th-32nd – 3
33rd-64th – 1
65th-128th or 256th – 0

Points for standings - Dailies
1st – 25 points
2nd – 15
3rd-4th – 10
5th-8th – 6
9th-16th – 3
17th-32nd – 1
33rd-64th – 0

While teams are competing in the PTCS, they will gain points for the standings to qualify for the Perfect Team Master Series (PTMS). These are special tournaments that will pit the top PTCS teams, split into two groups; tournaments and Perfect Drafts. That means there will be two PTMS; one for tournaments and another for PDs. The top 64 teams in each category will qualify for the PTMS. Here is the point structure to reach the PTMS:

Points for PTMS Standings (top 64 qualify)
a. 1st – 300 points
b. 2nd – 100
c. 3rd-4th – 75
d. 5th-8th – 40
e. 9th-16th – 20
f. 17th-32nd – 5
g. 33rd-64th – 2
h. 65th-128th – 1

There will be two PTMS tournaments; one in September and another in February. That means there are two cycles of five sets of PTCS tournaments and PDs.

Following the PTMS, the winners will reach the Perfect Team World Championship, where they will meet the two top performers from the Perfect League at that time in a bracketed tournament. The winner will emerge as the Perfect Team World Champion.
