Even a corrupted save shouldn't cause an issue like this.
Worst case scenario the game would just crash, but it should never trigger a blue screen.
So I suspect there may be something else that's the culprit here, likely something in common between the old and new computers that's interacting badly with OOTP.
Do you have the same anti-virus on each? You might need to make sure OOTP is whitelisted in that. Any other programs you might be running at the same time as OOTP on both computers?
