Good news! Trading Canha opens a spot for the Mets to bring up young(ish-he's 24) OF Matt Rudick, who's hitting decently at Binghamton.
Less-good news…Rudick is on the 7-day DL. Seriously, Eppler, prospects are a good thing.
Also, the Mets have used 29 pitchers this season, and it's only now reached August. FFS.
