I don't believe this is a isolated situation...this happens on just about every other play,being more visible depending on what zoom your playing.(mostly visible with the infield players) after securing an out..
The ball will just freeze clearly and significantly outside of the glove or hand, then pop inside the glove after about 2 seconds of levitation.
As mentioned this is a regular occurrence and can really be an immersion killer if you enjoy watching pbp...to what would otherwise be a pretty Impressive graphic upgrade.
