So in my JPBO save on Twitch (Saturdays at 2pm EDT!), I'm instituting a Flashback Friday jersey program to give my historical uniforms a chance to be shown on broadcasts. Most teams are OK, and it gives the Astrals and Jaguars a chance to show off their old Whalers and Express monikers...
...but then there's the Sendai Woodpeckers. They didn't exist before 2004, and you can't use the Hyogo Gladiators or Kobe Thunder kits because those are owned by the Osaka Bulls post merger.
What to do but create a fauxback? Went with a mix of St. Louis Cardinals and Washington Nationals influences (was this close to stealing the Curly W), and kept both green and red colour elements on the jersey. The "powder green" road uniforms are inspired by a jersey set I made as a subscription gift.
